TWO COPAPHARM EUROPE MEMBERS MERGE TO FORM PACKETIS
Copapharm Europe SCRL shareholders and subsidiaries of the French group Ileos, Packart and Rotanotice, have merged to form a new leading specialist pharmaceutical and healthcare packaging producer.
PACKETIS is a new force in the packaging and labelling sector, bringing together extensive expertise from Packart, which specialises in folding cartons and wedging systems, and from Rotanotice, the patient information leaflet and adhesive label specialist. (...more)

SOUND ORGANIC GROWTH PRODUCES EXCELLENT RESULTS AT COPAPHARM EUROPE
A healthy 8.5% increase in turnover at Copapharm Europe SCRL has been achieved purely through organic growth, reflecting the pharmaceutical alliance’s developing strength in the pharma packaging and labelling sector.
Copapharm Europe’s 2006 figures show a total turnover in 2006 of 264.8 million euros (244.2 million euros in 2005), and reflect the alliance’s increasing share of the supply of printed packaging to the pharmaceutical sector, with 85% of Copapharm turnover being in pharma and health care (up from 84% in 2005). The remaining 15% is mainly in bodycare, food, confectionary and consumer products. (...more)
