COPAPHARM EUROPE MEMBER NEKICESA RESIGNS
Nekicesa Packaging S.L., one of the Spanish members of Copapharm Europe, has resigned from its membership in Copapharm Europe scrl with immediate effect. The decision is due to a change of the strategic directions of Nekicesa.

COPAPHARM EUROPE POSTS HEALTHY RESULTS
Leading pharmaceutical packaging alliance Copapharm Europe SCRL has achieved satisfying revenue figures despite the global recession.
Turnover in 2009 increased to 328 million euros from the previous year’s 301 million euros, a figure which includes the alliance’s shareholders and associate members. (...more)

ABBOTT RECOGNIZES WINNERS OF SUPPLIER EXCELLENCE AWARD
Abbott Park, Illinois (NYSE: ABT) — Abbott today recognized 36 companies with its Supplier Excellence Award. Winners were recognized for exceptional contributions to Abbott in 2009, and were chosen from more than 20,000 worldwide suppliers because of outstanding performance in supplying quality materials, equipment and services to Abbott.
